My fear isn’t that attractive people are going to replace talented people. It’s that there are so many talented people out there that being talented might not be enough anymore. If you can choose from a million people who are great at something, chances are some of them are also attractive, funny, charismatic, and good on camera. And if those are the people the algorithms keep pushing to the top, eventually everyone else just becomes invisible.
