I'm trying my best to program this site like I would have in 1996. That being:

a limited understanding of code
no generative A.I.
MIDI? I'm still trying to figure out how to incorporate music (no MP3s). No one seems to be rockin' the Sound Blaster 16 sound card these days.
small graphics that load quickly under the delays of a dial-up modem (not really a problem, but I kind of dig the nostalgic look of web-color-only GIFs and stuff).
pages designed for what would have been a great monitor resolution in 1996 (800x600, which coincidentally looks pretty alright on a phone these days)
