I'm not sure what to put here. As a teenager I wanted to make a website about Greek Mythology, because I loved it so much. That's why I'm wearing a bedsheet like a toga and I have plants in my hair in this photo... I wasn't making a joke. I took it [too] seriously. Kenneth Uzqiano took this picture. He would have been the one who would have made the site, with me micro-managing him over his shoulder. We had some fun web site plans that never came to fruition... He was to be the brains of the operation, and I the not-brains. What I think I remember wanting to do was make a website that basically ripped off the entire vibe of the video game WRATH OF THE GODS. I loved/love that game so hard, that I wrote letters to its creator, Joel Skidmore, and I ultimately became longtime penpals with the game's composer/audio engineer, Leroy Clark (who I still occasionally chat with to this day). So, really, the only thing I think I can do here that is fair and true to my original intentions is give you a direct link to the game WRATH OF THE GODS, which is now playable FOR FREE on the web as well as in the app store! WWW.WRATHGAME.COM I was so pumped to see this was "remastered," but I have so many questions. Like, they clearly RE-SHOT a few videos with NEW ACTORS to replace some files that were beyond saving from the original. Like, WHO did this? Joel, was it you? Who spent MONEY making a cleaned up working version of this game that costs the players absolutely nothing? I need to know. This keeps me up at night. |
